I’m not sure why, but today I have been having feelings of fall. I call it fall, some call it Autumn. Either way, I have been feeling it today. I even got out my black licorice candle and put it by my bed. I didn’t light it, but the aroma is so strong, it just oozes into the air wh
en the lid is removed. The Yankee Candle Co. retired this candle a few years ago and made me sad so I burn my four candles sparingly. The picture above is of my front yard about 20 years ago and it is one of my favorites because it just has some of my favorite things: dead leaves, rain, and plastic ghosts hanging from the trees. It just screams Halloween, which is another one of my favorite things. I felt the fall vibe so strong today, that I even watched Hocus Pocus. I think I have these feelings the same time every year. I’m out of season. Next month, I’ll be experiencing Christmas early. I’m weird but I wouldn’t want to be any other way.
