I found a baby mouse today, well, it may have been a toddler, but it still freaked me out. The poor thing just came out into the middle of the floor and just sat there. I had to keep my dog away from it because I didn’t want him chewing it up right in front of me. It was so cute, but I knew I had to dispose of it. There was no way I was going to kill it. No way! So, I got a plastic cup and scooped it up and took it outside. I know that it may end up back in the house, but I had to give it a fighting chance. The photographer in me just had to document the occasion, so it is pictured above. It was so cute! Please let that mousey be an only child!

Awww....that was really kind of you to let the little feller go! :-) I have a few little mice come into my tuck-under garage during Spring and Fall each year, and I use live mouse traps. 2 sides of my yard are surrounded by a graveyard, so the little guys have plenty of places to run to when I let them go! It's so much better to catch and release them, than to find one with their little neck snapped for no reason other than someone may find them "troublesome." But, as they say...Karma will come back and find ya! She'll treat you very good
