Cemetery

Keyword: cemetery

I spent some time in the cemetery yesterday. I love the look of old headstones, they are truly pieces of artwork. It kills me to see the ones that have fallen prey to age. Age gives grace to some headstones, while others, it just destroys. This was just the first of many visits to cemeteries to photograph the headstones. Next stop: Spring Hill Cemetery.

Mouse

Keyword: mouse

I found a baby mouse today, well, it may have been a toddler, but it still freaked me out. The poor thing just came out into the middle of the floor and just sat there. I had to keep my dog away from it because I didn’t want him chewing it up right in front of me. It was so cute, but I knew I had to dispose of it. There was no way I was going to kill it. No way! So, I got a plastic cup and scooped it up and took it outside. I know that it may end up back in the house, but I had to give it a fighting chance. The photographer in me just had to document the occasion, so it is pictured above. It was so cute! Please let that mousey be an only child!

flip-flops

Keyword: flip-flops

I love flip-flops! They are so easy and if I didn’t get so cold in the winter time, I would probably wear them when it snowed. My favorite kinds of flip-flops are the cheap-ass ones that I remember from my childhood. We used to wait until we would get to Florida and find the nearest Walgreen’s, or similar type store, and buy rubber flip-flops for like 50 cents. The most we paid for them was $1. I think they were stronger than the ones I pay more than five dollars for now a days. Flip-flops…they let your toes breathe!
